CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm 68: 32-35
Leader: Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth, sing praise to the Lord,
People: To him who rides to ancient skies above, who thunders with mighty voice.
Leader: Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the skies.
People: You are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary;
Leader: The God of Israel gives power and strength to his people.
All: Praise be to God!
PROCESSIONAL HYMN #1 Praise Ye the Lord, the Almighty

CALL TO CONFESSION
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Compassionate God, as we come before your holiness, we sense our troubled and confused hearts. We have not been as loving as you have called us to be. We have been too critical of others and too easy on ourselves. We have been too busy doing things and not busy enough on building your kingdom. At times we have taken our families too much for granted. At other times the love you shared in Jesus Christ has been less than unconditional for those closest to us. Forgive us and fill us afresh with your redeeming love. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Leader: Friends, believe the good news of the gospel.
All: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven!
* GLORIA #579 GREATOREX
