WELCOME VISITORS: In the name of Jesus Christ, we welcome you to worship today. Please sign the friendship pad during the announcements so that we may have a record of your presence today.
We need your help in order to update our church directory. We would appreciate it if you could provide us with the following information: Your complete name, address, phone number (home, business, cell), and e-mail address(s), name(s) of family members living in the household and dates of birth. There will be index cards on the table at the entrance to the Sanctuary. Please complete the card with the requested information and place it in the offering plate. Or you may wish to call or e-mail the information to Linda at the office, 386-3241 or lcole@grace-pres.org. Thank you very much for your assistance with this matter!!! (If you have already provided this information to Dot Hathaway, please disregard this request.)
With graduation season quickly approaching, we would like to recognize our church family 2008 graduates from High Schools and Institutions of Higher Education in an upcoming announcement. Please provide the church office with the name, diploma/degree conferred, and the name of the educational facility so we may recognize the outstanding accomplishments of our church members and families.
Day Trippers will go to Shiloh Military Park, near Savannah, TN, Tuesday, April 29. Since it is almost a 2 ½ hour drive, we will be leaving the church at 8:00 a.m. Upon arrival, we will see a 25 minute movie at the visitors center and then take a 9 ½ mile driving audio tour in the van. The cost for the tour will be $3.00 unless you have a Golden Age Passport, it will be free. Shiloh is a 5000 acre military park where a fierce two day battle took place in April 1862 between the 40,000 Union and 40,000 Confederate forces. Total casualties were estimated at 20,000. Reserve your seat on the van by calling 386-6779.
YOUTH YARD SALE!!! Need to start your spring cleaning? Get started and donated unwanted items to the youth yard sale. We will have a yard sale on Saturday, May 17th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. If you would like to come and sell your own items, you can rent a booth for $10.00. Call Cristaldawn for more information: 233-3898.
ChildrenÕs worship bulletins, with crayons are available at the back of the Sanctuary near the entrance doors. If you are unable to locate the bulletins, please ask the ushers for assistance.
