affirm the gifts of love, hope, joy and peace.
People: Here we discover the meaning of life, know the power of love, and
together celebrate new life in Christ.
Leader: To the place and time
we have come. God is with us as a community of faith as we look to the future
with hope.
People: With neighbor and friend and with the stranger also, we have come
together to worship and give God praise.
All: May we now celebrate new life in Jesus Christ and sing the praise of our
risen Lord.

Prayer Of Confession
Holy, living God, we struggle to silence our active minds, put aside our "to-do" lists and rest our spirits in this moment. Move into the busy spaces and know our hearts, we pray. In this day of celebration and new life, we are mindful that we hold on to what is familiar and habitual. Forgive us for preferring ways of negativity and death to the adventure and joy you offer us each moment. Pardon us for reacting in fear when we hear or see things we do not understand. Grant us new life as you have gifted us with Christ's resurrection. Teach us what it means to be transformed this very day, as a forgiven and holy people. Amen.
